The New Unionism network is a global initiative which was launched in February 2007. This network is unlike anything the union movement has produced before; with its deliberate emphasis on informality and total lack of structure, you could perhaps think of it as the face of unorganised labour. Our key target audience is ourselves - working people and their workplace allies and representatives.

No one person can speak for the New Unionism network. We are all spokespeople in the sense that we are members, although the network accepts no legal responsibility for what members might say. If you would like to receive media comment on an item relating to the New Unionism agenda—eg union growth, worker internationalism and industrial democracy—please address your question to the network by way of the box on the right. We would also urge you to contact the relevant union. If you do not know who this is, email enquiries@newunionism.net and we will try to help.
