Can you spare an hour's pay to help us meet running costs? Becoming a financial member will help us meet our annual budget of $US11,500. A breakdown of this is available here»

I confirm that I'm a member of the New Unionism Network  (if in doubt, check our membership list here).   My full name is and my email is

Don't be under any illusions: this is unpaid work. Hopefully that will change. We've built a solid communications base, but now the network needs to become a lot less virtual. We need to establish relationships, build on connections, and make waves in real time. How many hours per week? You tell us what you can offer. Annual budget? Whatever we can collectively drum up to support you. And don't ask for a job description; if you're the right person you'll see the goal and make the rest up as you go along. If we have more than one applicant you'll be asked if you want to stand for election.

We've got a global membership and audience, and 5 great projects ready to go. What we really need now is for someone to jump in and help make it real. We need some initial resources to start us on the path to sustainability, and a clear head to co-ordinate projects. (Hopefully that second part will involve very little work). Although this is unpaid work, success and network approval would open the possibility of employing somebody.

We recently decided to become more involved in union campaigning. Can you suggest a good place to start? Bear in mind that we're a global network, with most members already supporting local campaigns. Our involvement should also be 100% in keeping with the principles we've agreed. The extent to which we achieve "buy-in" will depend heavily on the campaign.
